Driving Range Golf Practice can be the most useful tool you can use. But, you must know what to practice. This gets back to knowing our Strengths and Weaknesses. If we use the same example from playing more golf. The player accepting the fact that he/she is not able to be on most greens in regulation and still wanting to get a par on the hole, then we should have a very specific goal when we are practicing. This player should be spending most of their time practicing from 50 yards away from the green to actually being on the green. When this player has reached their goal of improving their short game then they would be spending most of their time practicing on the Drives and iron game. The point of this is very simple. If we decide that we are going to practice, then we should use this time to actually work on what we want to improve. I know everyone likes to go to the driving range and hit long drives, one after another, but if this is not what we are trying to improve then we might be wasting our time. Now that I think about it, how could we be wasting time by playing golf?

Practice Putting Green For me I never really spent much time practicing the way I just described. I combined playing more golf with practicing. I would play every Sunday with friends and family and I used this time as my practice time. This is when I worked on whatever it was that I wanted to improve. A great way to spend some time practicing is to arrive early, maybe 30 minutes, before each time you play. You can use this time to practice putting, chipping or hitting balls if the course has a driving range. Golf practice is a great way to improve your game. Just remember you must know what you should be practicing and try to focus on only that.

If you only have a minimum amount of space at home, you can buy a golf practice net. These nets take up very little space and allow you to swing any club you wish from your own back yard. No, you will not see how far the ball will go, but you do get the feel of hitting a golf ball. This is truely a great way to practice golf and still be at home. Please do not miss the net......…!!!

Once again the disadvantage with practice can be time and money. Depending on how you practice, it can be completely free or quite costly. If you spend all your golf practice time at a golf driving range then this will definitely cost you time and money. Golf Practice can be free if you do it right. Your short game can be totally free if you go to your local golf course and stay at the putting green. You can always chip at the practice green. For your longer shots you can use a nearby park or if you are lucky enough to have the space at home.
