This well-maintained course will test every skill level. The fairways are open, and the greens are fairly large. Hole 12, a 418-yard, par 4, has a large pond sitting along the second half of the fairway and up to the green.

This club has one regulation eighteen hole course and one nine hole par 3 course. The Lake of the Woods Course is scenic, located in the middle of a forest preserve. The fairways are open, and the greens are medium-sized. The terrain is rolling, so expect many uneven lies. There is a lateral hazard on 11, a 426-yard, par 4, so please read and follow the instructions on the sign located on the tee box. There are dogleg fairways on holes 7 and 10. The Lake of the Woods Par 3 Course is very short.

Stone Creek Golf Club is an eighteen hole, upscale, championship facility designed by Tim and Dick Nugent, and opened in 1998. The gently rolling fairways have subtle elevation changes and lead to challenging greens. The fairways are lined with a variety of tree species, and water comes into play on several holes in the form of lakes and a stream that wanders throughout the course.

This course is well manicured. The fairways are generous, with only a few trees that can alter your shots, and the greens are small. There are water hazards that come into play alongside six holes, and there are sand bunkers on every hole.

This eighteen hole course is situated on the former Chanute Air Force Base, and many of the old hangers are still standing and are visible from some of the holes. The course is very picturesque with numerous mature trees lining the fairways. Water hazards come into play on five of the eighteen holes. Every green has a slight break to it, which makes precise putting important. The signature hole is 4, a 251-yard, par 3, which calls for a tee shot into the wind and to an elevated green. The hole offers a fantastic view of the surrounding area.
