This course was built in the hill country of Southern Illinois. A solid short game is paramount on this course as the wide fairways narrow, like a funnel, to the greens.

This facility opened a second eighteen hole course in the summer of 1997. The North Course is more of links-style design with grass mounds placed along the fairways. The layout doesn't include the Scottish-style rough outlining the holes, but there are twenty-eight different types of grasses and wildflowers planted throughout the design. The signature hole on the new layout is 16, a 168-yard, par 3, which requires a carry of all but twelve yards over water. The Championship Course is another challenging layout that has water hazards coming into play on a few holes. The fairways are average width, and the greens are fast.

High Point Golf Club is a nine hole parkland style track and part of the High Point Estates residential development located a short distance from Chicago. This par 36 course winds through woodlands and over rolling terrain. Water comes into play on at least three holes. The fairways are generous and the greens offer multiple challenging pin placements.

This somewhat flat course features fast greens and narrow fairways. Furthermore, numerous sand bunkers have been positioned on the fairways and around the greens. The signature hole is 17, a 532-yard, par 5, requiring shots up a fairway that is intersected by two creeks and bordered by a large river flowing alongside the entire length of the hole.

This demanding course has water hazards coming into play on seven holes. The small greens are fast, undulating, and most of them are well bunkered. The fairways are basically flat, but there are some mounds that can affect your lie. A difficult hole is 13, a 373-yard, par 4, with a dogleg right fairway and a stream that crosses in front of the green.
