Welcome to Lawrence County and the settlements of the Wabash Valley, or Oubache, a name the French applied to the stream that separated Illinois from Indiana. The Wabash River was an early route the French used to reach the Mississippi from Canada. The French secured this route with the military post in Vincennes, Indiana. Early settlements radiated all around the fort opposite Vincennes in the fertile prairies of Lawrence County as early as 1762. Lawrence County is able to proudly boast of its fine quality of life. A lower cost of living here leaves plenty of time to enjoy the pleasures of the area. The county has very good public schools, a low crime rate, cultural diversity, excellent health care facilities, short commute times, a variety of restaurants and lots of unique shops. Recent additions to our community are the White Owl Winery and LaSata Winery. Lawrence County also has lots of clean, unpolluted air and unlimited quantities of good, fresh water. This very picturesque nine hole par 3 course is situated on rolling hills. The course is excellent for those learning the game. Although the layout is somewhat hilly, it is a very easy course to walk. Water hazards come into play on several holes.

This course is relaxing and enjoyable to play. The terrain is flat, and water hazards only come into play on three different occasions. In addition, some sand bunkers have been strategically place throughout the course. There is an additional men's tee that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round.
