This relatively short course is ideal for walking. The fairways are tree lined but fairly open. The terrain is rolling, plus sand bunkers and water hazards often come into play. Discounts are available for seniors and juniors on the weekdays. The scorecard doesn't show handicaps for individual holes. The ladies' par is actually 76.

This eighteen hole course is very typical of a traditional links-style facility. The greens are mildly undulating and large, and the fairways are also spacious. Water comes into play on a dozen holes in the form of ponds, lakes and creeks. The signature hole is 10, a 317-yard, par 4, which offers a spectacular view of St. Louis. At first glance, this hole appears to be much easier than it really is. There is a large wooden bunker in front of the green that can cause concern.

Stonebridge Golf Club is a championship, eighteen hole track designed by architect Richard Gundlach, and opened for play February 1999. Located a short drive from downtown St. Louis, this parkland style course has distinctly different nines; the front being relatively flat, while the back nine boasts some dramatic elevation changes. The fairways are a mix of open and tree lined, and the terrain varies as from hole to hole. The medium sized greens are undulating and fast. Water comes into play on several holes but bunkering is minimal throughout the course.

This course underwent a renovation to its back nine during 1997, and the changes were completed by the summer of 1998. This is a pretty hilly course with tree-lined fairways. The greens have some undulation and are protected by sand and grass bunkers. There are three ponds on the course, but only one comes into play on three holes.

If you enjoy playing a course with lots of water hazards, this is the course for you. Water comes into play from creeks and lakes on fourteen of the eighteen holes. The first two holes are relatively flat with a fairway creek to be crossed, the next seven holes you will enter into a hilly wooded area with elevated tees. The first three holes on the back nine are hilly. A particularly interesting hole is 3, a 199-yard, par 3, with a 450-foot high elevated tee box. The final holes are links-style. Hole 18, a 512-yard, par 5, can be viewed from the clubhouse restaurant and bar.
