This Scottish links-style course was built on 220 acres of rolling terrain, woods and wetlands. The greens vary in size, but are relatively fast. Water hazards (wetlands and ponds) come into play on many holes. The signature hole is 16, a 137-yard, par 3, requiring a downhill tee shot from an elevated tee to a well-bunkered green that is surrounded by trees.

This course, built on rolling terrain, is bordered by the Saint Joseph River. The signature hole is 18, a 489-yard, par 5, requiring a long downhill tee shot over the river to an extremely narrow landing area. The river comes into play on three other occasions, and a creek meanders across some holes on the back nine.

This course was built on rolling hills, so expect many uneven lies. Locals believe the tees and greens are the largest in the Midwest. Some of the undulating greens are elevated and well bunkered, and water hazards come into play on eight holes. The wind is also a factor on this course, so be wary when making club selections. Also, be prepared to encounter an unusual number of blind shots.

This course features narrow, frequently-watered fairways and small greens. The terrain is hilly, and only one hole has a water hazard coming into play. The finishing hole is a 398-yard, par 4, featuring a slight dogleg left fairway with a sand bunker in the landing area and on either side of the green. Locals claim that precise shotmaking is essential while playing this course.

This private club has two fine eighteen hole courses. The East Course was built on flat terrain and is wide open. The course has large greens, and water hazards come into play on some holes. The signature hole is 18, a 394-yard, par 4, requiring an uphill approach shot to a green that is framed by large trees. The West Course is narrow and hilly, featuring several changes in elevation. The greens are elevated and undulating. Many trees comes into play which can alter your shots. The signature hole is 15, a 460-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot up a dogleg left fairway, then a blind approach shot to the green.

This flat course is easy to walk. However, even though you won't have many uneven lies, shot accuracy is essential because many of holes feature dogleg fairways lined with out-of-bounds stakes. A pond with a small creek flowing from it comes into play on two holes.

The signature hole is 16, a 388-yard, par 4, with water in front of the tee and running down the entire right side of the fairway. There are also two fairway bunkers to contend with on the left side of this fairway. The approach shot to its green which is mostly surrounded by sand bunkers, except for the water lurking in the back, is quite a challenge.

This hilly executive course has many trees and bushes lining the fairways. There is a scenic bridge that crosses over a creek that comes into play on two holes. The course has some small sand bunkers that come into play on three holes. The greens are small, undulating and elevated. The ladies tee off from the same set of tees as the men.

Located northeast of the University of Notre Dame campus, The Warren Course opened for play in 1999. This 6,744 yard course boasts eighteen challenging holes of golf, from three sets of tees, and was designed by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw. The fairways are tree-lined and gently undulating. Greens are ample and will provide a challenging read.
