This course is considered by knowledgeable golfers to be one of the finest public golf facilities in southern Indiana. The back and front nines are notably different in appearance. The front nine holes are driver-friendly with large, well-bunkered greens. Even if you drive it well here, you still must avoid some well-placed hazards. The back nine holes are more indicative of the local landscape. While the fairways are tree lined, your approach shot will be the challenge on this side, with the hilly terrain making a level lie a rarity.

This is a hilly course with many trees that come into play. The course is fairly short and has narrow fairways and beautiful scenery. The signature hole is 4, a 300-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot over water. There are additional sets of tees that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round.
