This course was built on a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan and Crystal Lake. The tree-lined fairways are extremely hilly, so expect many uneven lies. One small pond comes into play on hole 8, a 550-yard, par 5. In 1991, the club hosted a Senior Amateur Event Tournament.

This course overlooks Crystal Lake. It is usually in excellent condition. The greens are large, and the wide fairways wind through apple orchards. Water hazards come into play on three holes, and there are many sand bunkers spread throughout the course.

The newer Mountain Ridge Course features championship caliber golf on a spectacular series of elevation changes over 7,000 yards of golf. The Mountain Ridge Course offers a challenge to even the most dedicated golfer. There are four tee boxes on each hole that makes the course very player friendly, without sacrificing an interesting challenge. Pines and hardwoods frame each tee shot. The Betsie Valley Course shuffles past sparkling creeks, ponds and vibrant meadows. Water comes into play on eighteen holes. The isolated fairways are punctuated by the beauty of wildflowers at the feet of ominous pines and hardwoods.

This facility has three nine hole courses that are played in three eighteen hole combinations. The White Course's nine features shorter holes, narrower fairways, more blind shots, and more dogleg fairways than its back nine. However, the Blue Course was built on rolling terrain, so you should expect more uneven lies. The Red Course was added in 1997 and features a lake that comes into play on holes 7 and 8.
