Located on 290 acres in Isabella County, Bucks Run miles of Chippewa River frontage showing through seven holes. The natural wetlands and three large lakes were utilized throughout the course, and virtually every hole plays through or near water. The largest lake was once a rock quarry, and is now surrounded by two holes of the front nine and three holes of the back nine.

This course features the Chippewa River flowing through many holes. The signature hole is 17, a 149-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over water to a well-bunkered green.
