This somewhat open course has several tree-lined holes and an undulating terrain. Water hazards come into play on eight holes. The course is said to have the best greens and tee boxes in the area. This scenic course was built on a side of a hill, so there are a lot of uneven lies. The tree-lined fairways are fairly wide on the front nine, and narrower on the back. New York Golf Courses Comments:
This narrow course has tree-lined fairways, so shot accuracy is at a premium. Some of the undulating greens are multi-tiered, and some are elevated, but all of them are well bunkered. Water hazards (two ponds and a creek) come into play on three holes.
Terry Hills Golf Course

Holes: 27
Par: 72
Rating: 68.8
Slope: 118
Status: Public
Season: April 1 thru November 30
New York Golf Courses Comments:
This facility has three nine-hole courses played in three eighteen-hole combinations. The holes are numbered 1-27 consecutively. The newest course, The North, plays slightly longer and tighter than The East or The South yet still offers a very manageable distance. Fairways on both of the older courses are fairly wide, with most of them being tree lined, however, the terrain is quite hilly, so expect many uneven lies. The club frequently waters its tees, greens and fairways to insure a lush playing surface.
