World of Golf Handicap New York Golf Courses Greene County
New York Golf Courses : Greene County
First visited by the English explorer Henry Hudson in 1609 and settled by Dutch colonists soon thereafter, Greene County has been central to the American experience for 400 years. Museums and cultural sites are sprinkled throughout the county's mountains and valleys telling the story of colonial life, nineteenth-century industrial pioneers, Hudson River steamboats and Catskill Mountain railways, America's first defining art movement, and the mosaic of nationalities that built America. The Word is Out. Business owners and families seeking change in their lives are arriving in ever-increasing numbers to discover Greene in the shops of our Main Streets, in the dazzling array of the four-season inns, resorts and Bed and Breakfast's, on the fairways of splendid New York golf courses on ski slopes, waterways and scenic trails, in the rich history and local traditions that survive the centuries, and in the wealth of art and music and theatre available all year long. For companies that are looking for a business-friendly environment and one-of-a-kind housing opportunities; and for families who can sense a gentler pace to their lives, where the short drive to work is relaxed, where the schools are safe, and where year-round recreation and culture are without equal - the opportunities of Greene County are indeed endless. Now let’s see the New York golf courses in Greene County.
