Sullivan County New York has something for everyone, for those who want to just watch the action, Monticello Raceway offers year-round harness horse racing. The more active can take flying lessons at one of our three airports: Wurtsboro, Monticello or Sullivan County International in Bethel. Wurtsboro also offers lessons in soaring. History buffs can also find plenty to excite them in Sullivan County. Mid-May marks the opening of Fort Delaware in Narrowsburg. Fort Delaware is an authentic Colonial-era settlement, complete with entertainers in period costume. In Livingston Manor, the Catskill Fly Fishing Center and Museum offers a retrospective on the dry fly fishing heritage of the Catskills. Five covered bridges, three stone-arch bridges, and the oldest standing example of a John Roebling bridge, the famed architect of the Brooklyn Bridge, make traveling around Sullivan County New York half the fun. This resort has two regulation eighteen hole courses and a nine hole executive course. The nine hole Challenger Course is a great course for beginners and seniors who like to walk. This course has several water hazards positioned throughout its design. Because of this course's length, riding carts are mandatory. The scorecard on the Monster Course does not show any information regarding ladies' tees, nor does it list a slope or course rating for the championship tees. Ladies tee off from the same set of tees as the men on the Challenger Course.

This course features a slightly-rolling, traditional-style layout and is situated in the heart of the Catskill Mountains. Although only ninety minutes from Manhattan, the heavily-wooded terrain creates a secluded feel. A waterfall and a cascading brook add a pleasing aesthetic.

This club has two courses: an eighteen hole championship track and a nine hole course. The eighteen hole course, known as the (Big G), is very scenic with a front nine that plays long and has narrow fairways that are tree lined. The back nine is even more challenging because of its wide diversity of holes and water hazards. The greens are fast, undulating, and medium sized. The nine hole course is tricky with its blind shots and very small greens with extremely deep bunkers.
