This course is completely irrigated, and the greens and tees were built to USGA specifications. The fairways are narrow because they are lined by apple trees on both sides. The greens are elevated, and water hazards (ponds) come into play on eleven holes.

This course has no water hazards and fairways with generous landing areas. The terrain is flat and easy to walk, and the small greens are basically flat and well manicured. The most difficult hole is 8, a 348-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot up one of the narrowest fairways on the course, then an approach shot to a green that slopes from front to back toward a ditch located behind the green.

This is a relatively flat course, but there is some mounding that can cause uneven lies. The views of the mountains are breathtaking, plus there is an abundance of wildlife living on and around the course. There are water hazards that come into play on seven holes. The source for some of the water hazards is from the Wallkill River that flows alongside the back of the course.

This very lush and scenic course was built against the mountains. The fast greens are medium-sized, and the fairways are approximately thirty yards wide. The terrain is hilly, so most golfers use a golf cart. There is a huge pond on hole 1, a 286-yard, par 4. That same pond comes into play on four other holes.
