Belmont County Ohio wants you to discover the possibilities. Belmont is located in Southeastern Ohio nestled in between rolling hills, along the Ohio River. You are invited to come for a visit and stay for awhile. The area offers a variety of things including some great Ohio golf courses.. Dickinson Cattle Co., Inc. has Texas Longhorn Cattle roaming the land. Take an up close look, ride their bus out into the field. Watt Center for History and The Arts exhibits include coal history, business, industry and agriculture. The Underground Railroad Museum or Sedgwick House Museum each has a story to tell. National Imperial Glass Museum where history is kept alive in the story of Imperial Glass, one of the largest and most diverse of the companies that made up the American handmade glass industry. Events include everything from a local tour of homes (seasonal) to tea at the Belmont County Victorian Mansion Museum.
The 1828 Blaine Bridge has been designated the Ohio Bicentennial Bridge. It is located along Historic National Road in Blaine under the Route 40 viaduct. Belmont County is the only county in the state with a total of three official Ohio Byways, being the Drovers Trail along Ohio 147 and 800, Historic National Road, and the Ohio River Scenic Byway along Ohio 7. Dovers Trail an old cattleman's trail where livestock were herded to commercial boats on the Ohio River--located just south of National Road in eastern Ohio's hill country. Extending from Exit 202 on I-70(Hendrysburg) in Belmont County, south along State Rt. 147 to the Ohio River city of Bellaire, Drovers Trail links the National Road and Ohio River Scenic Byways. Belmont county has much history to offer anyone and also don’t forget some really nice Ohio golf courses.

This very hilly course requires plenty of accurate shot placements. The fairways are wide and tree lined, and water hazards come into play only a few times. The greens are large, undulating, very fast, and difficult to read. One of many nice Ohio golf courses.

Ohio Golf Courses Comments:
This scenic course has several water hazards to be aware of. The bunkers consist of grass, but still pose a threat. Some of the fairways are dogleg configurations and a few of the greens are undulating. The signature hole is 8, par 5, which features a long fairway and requires getting over a large pond to the green. The senior discount is available Monday through Friday.
