This course, built on rolling terrain, has large greens that are contoured. Out-of-bounds stakes line many of the fairways, and water hazards (ponds, rivers, and a creek) come into play on many holes. The signature hole is 13, a 367-yard, par 4, requiring an accurate approach shot to the green or you'll end up in the river that flows in back. One of many nice Ohio golf courses.

This is one of those typical Ohio golf courses that is situated on slightly-rolling terrain and offers moderate yardage, making it good for the beginning golfer. Three lakes, plenty of trees and sand bunkers throughout the layout create enough of a challenge to keep it interesting for most any player. The fairways, with ample landing areas, are complimented by several hilly greens.

This course was built on a flat terrain. The front nine is wide open and the back nine has water hazards coming into play on several holes. This is an excellent course for beginners, or for experienced golfers who like to walk. One of the easier Ohio golf courses.
