This par 3 course is part of the resort which is in close proximity to Lake Erie. There are some holes as long as 240 yards. Water hazards (three lakes) come into play on seven holes. Since the terrain isn't very strenuous, the course can easily be walked. The fairways are fairly open, but well-bunkered. This is one of the few resort Ohio golf courses.

This flat course which is not normal for Ohio golf courses only has a few elevated greens, but according to the locals, the fairways are difficult to hit. Many huge oak trees can alter your shots, and a standard cut of rough lines the fairways. Geoffrey Cornish and Bill Robinson redesigned six holes in 1978.

The Blue Course can be difficult if the wrong club selection is made. The signature hole on the Blue Course is 4, a 520-yard, par 5. Any of these Ohio golf courses may be played as an individual nine hole course.

In addition to this fine course, this club offers excellent practice facilities, including a practice sand bunker and chipping green.

This facility has five outstanding nine hole courses. The club uses all five of these nine hole courses as eighteen hole combinations. Pine Valley is the most challenging course of the five. This course has creeks, hourglass fairways, several dogleg fairways, and requires many blind shots. The Park Course opened in 1994. This course has a lake that comes into play on two holes. This is another of the many Ohio golf courses that try to stay open all year.

This club has one eighteen hole course and one nine hole course. These well-maintained courses were built on 420 acres of rolling terrain and prime real estate, so expect uneven lies. Two-hundred of the 420 acres are heavily wooded. The holes are well spaced, so you don't have to worry about getting struck by another golfer's errant tee shot. The greens are exceptionally large, and Mallard Creek (plus one man-made lake) flows throughout these courses and comes into play on many holes. The most difficult hole is a 464-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot up a dogleg right fairway, then an approach shot over water and past trees to an average-sized green. The signature hole is a 545-yard, par 5, featuring a giant oak tree in the middle of the fairway about 200 yards off the tee, and later requiring an approach shot to a green framed by large trees.

Royal Oaks Golf Club is an 18-hole parkland-style track. The course was designed by the father/son team of Max Jalowiec, Sr. and Jr. There are three sets of tees and the course plays from 4,439 to 5,729-yards. The gently rolling fairways are tree-lined and lead to greens that vary in size and contour, and are moderate in speed. Water comes into play on eight holes in the form of several lakes. Although the course is relatively short overall, its design places accuracy at a premium, and the course is best suited to mid/high handicappers.

This club has three nine hole courses that are played in three eighteen hole combinations. If you do well on the first three holes of the Front 9 you will score well. The Middle 9 is best suited for the long ball hitters because there are three par 5s which are all reachable in two shots. The Legacy 9 demands accurate iron play because you must cross over water seven times. There are water hazards that come into play on thirteen of the twenty-seven holes. All the greens on these courses are slightly sloped and easy to putt.
