These natural areas will be some of the Seneca County Park Districts most scenic properties. In order to maintain the delicate and often rare habitats and wildlife within these areas, visitation will be limited to non-consumptive use. We will work with local and state professionals to ensure that these areas are preserved. Such areas of habitat and wildlife are vital for the study of our culture and history. This is one of the many hilly Ohio golf courses and has water hazards (a creek and two ponds) coming into play on several holes, but no sand bunkers. However, there are a few grass bunkers and a thick cut of rough defining the fairways. The front nine is more open and less wooded than the back nine. The greens are smaller than average and vary in undulation.

This mostly flat course which is not normal for Ohio golf courses features a short cut of rough, making it ideal for seniors. The narrow fairways are tree lined and water hazards come into play on fifteen holes. The greens are average-sized, undulating and very fast.
