This course distinguishes itself by its tight landing areas and fast, elevated greens. The approach shots can be challenging because many require blind shots to difficult pin placements. The signature hole is 7, a 432-yard, par 4, requiring a downhill tee shot, then a downhill approach shot to a green guarded by a pond on the left and woods on the right.

This eighteen hole facility features a links-style design. The front nine has fairways that are open, with mounding between the tees and greens. The back nine is more of a traditional plantation design and features a natural wetlands. Water comes into play on eight holes, five on the front and three on the back. The greens are very large and undulating. The signature hole is 9, a 423-yard, par 4, which features a dogleg fairway that breaks to the left. There is a carry over water off the tee and a bunker in front of the green. If the approach shot goes long, it will have a tendency to roll down the back of the green into a pond.
